Triflex Process

Fundamentally, the key elements of the process are:

First, collect a low value waste feedstock such as municipal solid waste (MSW) as a raw material.
Separate metal and plastics from the biomass fraction of municipal solid waste (MSW). Recycle the metals and the recyclable plastics. The rest of the garbage goes to a landfill.
Convert the separated non-recycled plastic fraction of the MSW into a synthetic crude oil.
Ship the resulting synthetic crude oil to an oil refiner for further processing.
